SHIFTS: 11 AM - 11PM
Duration: 13 week
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Job Summary:
The RN ED Main is responsible for providing nursing care in the Emergency Department Main area. This includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care for patients in emergency situations.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department Main area
- Assess patients' condition and implement appropriate nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient progress
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare-related topics
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
